The King's Hospital is regarded as one of Ireland's leading schools in the promotion of Music and the Arts, with a School Play and Musical on alternate years being much-anticipated features of the school calendar.

The extra-curricular facilities provided include the Wilson-Wright Centre for Performing Arts - a 300-seat theatre - and state-of-the-art Music and Speech & Drama practice rooms and recording studio.
