Badminton is on the rise at The King's Hopsital. The school has excellent facilities for the coaching and playing of the sport, with our sports hall having the capacity for five Badminton courts.
Tradionally this has been an activity where our students can come to practice and participate against their peers. However, 2017 has seen us enter teams in to the Leinster Leagues for the first time. In boys badminton, we have two teams representing the school in the Leinster Schools' League and Cup competitions. Matches are played traditionally on Wednesday afternoons, but matches can be played at other times. In girls badminton, we currently have one team representing the school in the Leinster Schools' League and Cup competitions. However, with regular attendance at training of over 30 students the number of teams representing the school will continue to grow.
