School Visits/Open Days

Parents and children who have already registered for a place will be invited to attend our Open Day. For 2020 (current 5th class pupils) entrants Open Day takes place Friday May 3rd, 2019. If you have not yet registered but wish to attend the Open Day please contact our office for a Registration Form. The Open Day takes place from 9am to 2pm. During the Open Day parents and children are given guided tours of the school, from classrooms to boarding facilities, and information sessions are given by each Department Head. There will be plenty of interaction with current students, who lead the guided tours along with a member of the teaching staff. You will also get the opportunity to hear musical, speech & drama and choral performances from students, view some of their art projects, engage in experiments in the science labs and sample some of the delicious treats baked by our Home Economics students. You are invited to stay for lunch from 1-2pm, where you can informally chat with our staff and students.

If you are unable to attend Open Day we can arrange a school visit at another time so please do let us know. If your contact details have changed since you first registered your child please advise us immediately, particulary home address or email.

See previous years Open Day Timetable here.

Taster Nights

In 2018 we introduced a Taster Night/Sleepover for registered prospective boarding students currently in 5th or 6th class. Students came for the last class of Friday, April 20th and stayed over until lunchtime on Saturday. The sleepover was a great success and put parent and student's mind at ease about staying away from home, some for the first time. Please contact us in the Admissions Office if this is something you would be interested in for your son or daughter in 2019.

If you have submitted a registration form to the school for a form other than Form 1 and have missed the Open Day, you can contact our Admissions Office at any time and we will arrange an appointment for a tour of the school.  Mid-stream applicants must also be interviewed by the Headmaster or Deputy Head.

International Boarders
We welcome visits from prospective International Students and Agents all year round and are open during most school holidays. If possible it is better to visit the the school in full session as you have the opportunity to meet with other students and staff, observe classes and view some sports activities. To find out more about the application process for an International Student please click here or email us with the student's Name, Date of Birth and class they are applying for.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Office with any questions at or +353 1 6436564.
