The King's Hospital's Guidance Department has two qualified counsellors with the requisite knowledge and experience to work with pupils to identify their skills, talents and potential and to help direct them towards the most appropriate future careers. The Department also has a Careers Administrator to co-ordinate the organisation and ensure the smooth running of the Careers and Counselling service in the school.
The Department offers practical advice and assistance on University applications – both at home and abroad – and a modern, constantly updated careers library is a major asset to pupils. A computerised resource centre provides access to national and international databases and information on third level courses and careers.
