Curriculum

Typically, pupils pursue a 6-year course on entering the school, based on the general curriculum set by the Department of Education & Science. Firstly, the junior cycle leads to the Junior Certificate over three years and the senior cycle ends with the two-year Leaving Certificate course.

Between the two courses, pupils must spend 4th Year following the ‘Transition Year’ programme, which the School has actively promoted since its inception and which has proven to be highly successful.

Transition Year, which includes a valuable Work Experience module, is mandatory and no exceptions are allowed.
