* Students with a variety of learning needs and difficulties are supported
* Tuition may be provided one-to-one, in small groups or in-class support
* Support may be in literacy, numeracy, subject specific or to develop skills in studying, IT, organisation or social development
* Diagnostic testing is also carried out
* The Learning Support Department liaises closely with parents, housemasters/mistresses and subject teachers
* The SENCO and relevant resource and learning support teachers are available, by appointment, to meet with parents to discuss the progress of their child and any concerns
* Parents should provide the SENCO with all available information concerning their child's difficulties prior to entering the school, so that an appropriate educational plan can be put in place for that child |
