The aim of the library is to promote reading for pleasure and to support the curriculum. Information Skills classes are available for all subjects and run throughout the year. They cover :
* How to use the catalogue and make the most of the library collection * How to evaluate resources including the World Wide Web * How to do a project
To promote reading for pleasure the library organises various activities :
* Bookclub * Competitions * Author visits
