| | | | KH STUDENTS TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE
With most world leaders, including Barack Obama acknowledging that climate change poses a significant challenge for us in the immediate future, the hugely important United Nations Climate Change Conference to take place in Copenhagen this December 2009, King’s Hospital is set to play its part.
King’s Hospital was invited by Maribo Gynasium, a secondary school Denmark, to take part in the Zealand Consensus in November 2009. This was a conference of 8 Danish schools and an international school of their choosing where topics of climate change were discussed and debated.
Ten students from Form 5 were selected to travel to Denmark and to work with our partner school on projects dealing with climate change. Their work will be presented to the UN Climate Change conference in Copenhagen in from December 7th - 18th 2009 .... Well done to all involved .... !
