Sci-Fest Awards Tuesday 10th May 2011

 Sci Fest 2011

The King’s Hospital scooped EIGHT prizes at Scifest held in the Institute of Technology in Tallaght on Tuesday 10th May. From approx 25 schools, 180 entries and 450 odd students, five projects from KH were awarded prizes on the day. This was a tremendous achievement as it represented half the prizes that were available to our students on the day. Holding the KH Scifest earlier in the term was a huge and obvious benefit to the students as four of the winning projects within the school went on to win at Scifest in ITT.

Form 2 achieved great success in the Scifest in ITT on 10th May 2011. Following on from a very successful KH Scifest held in A10 in March, where approximately 25 projects were exhibited, 14 projects from 35 students were entered into Scifest. Four from six winning projects from KH Scifest went on to win at Scifest.

Congratulations to all students who worked hard and put in tremendous effort. They were a credit to the school. This year there were approx 450 students and 180 projects displayed in ITT. The standard was very high and the competition was fierce.
