Who would have guessed that our F2 Pink Team would go grow this year as both a social andunbeaten this season until fixtures succumbed to COVID-19? Or that our U19 boys would have a mid-season competitive sport. We had over 50turnaround but ultimately fall short in the Dublin Plate Final in the Oblates? students sign up to take part in badminton at least once a week. We catered for those students who just wanted to play a little badminton and socialise with their friends and also players that wanted to improve and work on their game. This year we entered 4 teams into the Dublin Schools League. Under 19 Boys A Team: Conor Eiffe, Cameron Doherty, Allen Savio and Zhuoran Wang. Under 19 Girls A Team: Calista Kuan, Chiharu Uno, Phoebe Nicholson andAlette Shilling.Under 19 Girls B Team: Kate Ormbsy, Isabella Dunlop, Alejandra Mejino and Nina Damschen.U16 Boys A Team: Kenneth Kuruvilla, Ali Mirza, Adam Gardiner and Ahmad Niazi.Our U19 Girls A team were runners up inBasketball continued to grow in the school with two F2 girls basketball squads for the first time ever, to the final against Lyce Francais and ourmatch the two F1 squads introduced last year. Unfortunately, this creates pressure on training slots, so we U19 Boys team made it to the semi-finalswill have to get creative next year.but were narrowly beaten.
