A Taste of India Charity Ball

Mon 5th Mar 2018

As the fundraising begins in earnest for the students' trip to Kolkata in October, we are delighted to announce the details of a fantastic evening's entertainment for our extended KH family and friends, past and present. Money raised goes to support the work of The Hope Foundation, who work with street children, in Kolkata.

'A Taste of India' Charity Ball will take place on Friday 23rd March, 2018 in the KH Dining Hall from 7pm until late. There will be dinner served with an indian theme (wine and beer available to purchase) and dancing, with music provided by Dave Hardy's Blue Clavon Orchestra, which many of you have enjoyed hearing over the years in the National Concert Hall and on the KH Stage.

Tickets are priced at €35 each and the tables will seat 8. Tickets available to purchase from reception or email Dress Code is Formal Attire, which is defined as;  a tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Suggested attire for the gents is; a tuxedo or formal dark suit and tie. and for ladies; a long evening dress, dressy suit or formal cocktail-length dress.

As there is a raffle on the night, donations of prizes or indeed sponsorship of a table are greatly appreciated and welcome. Contact Cormac Ua Bruadair at for more information.
